Scramble: Word Trace
Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Scramble: Word Trace ("Scramble", "we", "us")
handles information when you use our mobile game. We built Scramble to be fun and
respectful of your privacy — we collect as little as possible.
Information we collect
- Gameplay data. Your scores, streaks, and game statistics,
so we can save your progress and power the leaderboard.
- Leaderboard name. A display name you choose if you opt in to
the global leaderboard. You can play without appearing on it.
- Subscription status. If you purchase Scramble Pro, we receive
a record of your subscription status (active, expired, etc.) so we can unlock
Pro features. Payments are processed by Apple — we never see your card details.
- Basic technical data. Anonymous diagnostic and performance
information (such as crashes and device type) to keep the app stable.
How we use information
- To save your scores and show the global leaderboard.
- To deliver and restore Scramble Pro features you have purchased.
- To fix bugs, improve performance, and develop new features.
Third-party services
We use a small number of trusted providers that may process limited data on our
behalf:
- Apple App Store — processes purchases and subscriptions.
- RevenueCat — manages subscription entitlements
(privacy policy).
Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data with the service
providers above as needed to run the game, or where required by law.
Data retention
We keep gameplay and leaderboard data for as long as your profile is active. You
may request deletion of your data at any time (see Contact below).
Children's privacy
Scramble is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect
personal information from them.
Your choices
- Play without joining the leaderboard.
- Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple account settings.
- Request access to or deletion of your data by contacting us.
